Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and assess data related to patient health and conditions
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to advocate for patient needs
• Analyze assessment findings to determine appropriate nursing diagnoses
• Establish individualized care plans and expected outcomes for patients
• Promote patient safety through proactive care and communication
• Manage resources effectively (time, equipment, supplies)
• Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatments

Requirements

• Current Florida RN license or multistate/compact license (or eligibility to obtain before start)
• Nursing diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• BLS certification (AHA) required prior to start
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of start
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting preferred
