Registered Nurse - NICU

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to join our esteemed healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care to critically ill newborns and support their families during challenging times. This role requires a strong background in primary care, medication administration, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards.

Administer medications and IV infusions as prescribed, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.

Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including triage and laboratory evaluations, to determine appropriate care plans.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.

Educate families on infant care practices, treatment plans, and discharge procedures.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.

Participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in neonatal care.

Years of Experience: 4 year(s)

Certifications:BLS, NRP

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

Previous experience in a NICU or pediatric setting is preferred.

Strong skills in patient care, including IV infusion and medication administration.

Knowledge of laboratory processes relevant to neonatal care.

Ability to perform triage effectively and make critical decisions under pressure.

Familiarity with dementia care principles is a plus, especially when working with families facing complex situations.

Experience in a teaching hospital environment is advantageous but not required.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients and families compassionately.

Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 17:00)
