Pawnee Nation Behavioral Health is on a mission to revolutionize behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment. Our state-of-the-art facility, offering both inpatient and outpatient services, is set to open in spring 2025 in Pawnee, Oklahoma.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Provide direct patient care in an inpatient and outpatient behavioral health setting.


• Administer medications and monitor for side effects and effectiveness.


• Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, physicians, and mental health professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.


• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.


• Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies with appropriate interventions.


• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.


• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility policies and protocols.


• Participate in staff training, quality improvement initiatives, and multidisciplinary team meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

✔ Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma (or ability to obtain before start date).
✔ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN preferred).
✔ 2+ years of nursing experience (behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred).
✔ Strong knowledge of psychotropic medications, mental health disorders, and addiction treatment.
✔ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
✔ Excellent communication, documentation, and crisis intervention skills.
