Registered Nurse - Operating Room

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong commitment to patient care. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality surgical care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

Certifications: BLS

Skills

• Proficient in IV insertion techniques and monitoring patient responses.
• Knowledge of coding practices relevant to surgical procedures.
• Familiarity with operating within a Level I Trauma Center environment is preferred.
• Experience with dermal fillers is a plus, particularly for roles involving cosmetic surgery.
• Ability to ventilate patients effectively during surgeries requiring respiratory support.
• Understanding of Workers Compensation law as it pertains to surgical procedures and patient care.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and education of patients.
• Experience in long-term care settings is beneficial but not required.
• Previous experience in a teaching hospital setting is advantageous.
