Registered Nurse - OR

The Staff Pad is partnering with a hospital in Helena, MT to recruit a Full-Time Registered Nurse (Pre-Op & Post-Op) for their surgical services team. This role involves working 10-hour shifts providing holistic, family-centered care to patients before and after surgery in all specialties, especially orthopedic and inpatient cases. Duties include patient interviews, assisting anesthesia with site verification and time-outs, ensuring documentation accuracy, monitoring patients post-procedure, and coordinating inpatient surgical care to ensure safety. The RN may also assist in PACU recovery as needed and perform other duties assigned by OR leadership.

Qualifications: Graduate of a professional nursing program with current Montana RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR, ASPAN, or other perioperative/acute care certifications preferred. Candidates must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with anesthesia, OR, PACU, and surgical staff.
