Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

Loup Basin Public Health Department (LBPHD) is seeking a qualified and compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to support the delivery and coordination of work that plays a critical role in improving maternal and child health outcomes by providing nutrition assessment, counseling, and education to eligible women, infants, and children.

Primary responsibilities include working in the office and at off-site satellite clinics across the 9-county area to delivery individualized, culturally responsive nutrition education. This position also coordinates referrals to healthcare and community resources, and maintains accurate and confidential documentation. 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to serving diverse and rural populations. Candidates must hold an active nurse license in the State of Nebraska.
