Registered Nurse - OR Per Diem

Description

Surgery schedule is Monday thru Friday – No nights, weekends or holidays required.

The Registered Nurse- RN - Surgery organizes and facilitates the patient throughput in the operating room (OR). The Registered Nurse- RN - Surgery coordinates the overall case of the patient between the surgeon, anesthesiologist and room staff. The Registered Nurse - RN Surgery is responsible for an assigned operating room, facilitating an efficient workflow of the schedule by communicating changes and pertinent information. 

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
• Current Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia or eligible to obtain
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provide certification
• Current ACLS certification
• 2 year of operating room experience
• Experience in critical care, telemetry, emergency room beneficial
• Knowledge of electronic medical records system
• Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be detailed oriented
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Strong sense of discretion and professionalism
