Registered Nurse - PCU/Progressive Care Unit

*Duration: 13 weeks*
*Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)*
*Hours: 48 hrs./week*

*Requirements:*
* First Time Travelers Accepted;
* Travel Experience Is Preferred
* ICU, PCU and M/S Peds and Adult RNs residing in the state of Indiana are considered local.

*Shift Requirements:*
* 4x12 or 3x12
* Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract

*Weekends:*

Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract.

Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need

*Charge coverage:*

Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.

*Certification Requirements: *

BCLS and ACLS;

ONS Preferred

*Skillset Preferences:*

Level 1 Trauma Experience and Oncology Experience

*Skillet Requirements:*

Minimum 2 Year From A Large Urban or Academic Health Center

*Floating Requirements:*

Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals

*Staffing Ratios:* 1:4

*Unit Information:*

inpatient Hematology/Oncology and overflow Stem Cell Transplant patient population
Effective 9/1, the COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at client’s campuses.

Declinations will not be accepted; however medical or religious exemptions will be accepted with a doctor's note provided.
