Position Overview:

Deliver high-acuity pediatric care across multiple units in a Level I/II trauma center. Provide critical nursing support in a fast-paced environment requiring adaptability and specialized pediatric expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert care across pediatric units
• Manage diverse high-acuity cases
• Respond to rapid changes in patient status
• Maintain precise electronic documentation
• Coordinate care with specialized teams

Qualifications:

• Education: ADN/BSN from an accredited program
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted NY RN license
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and acuity level as the hiring hospital
• Must have 2 years of pediatric nursing experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center.
• Experience with high patient volume and multidisciplinary teams is strongly preferred
• Travel nurses must have experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers or hospitals of equal or greater size
• Technical Skills:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (must be current or eligible for immediate renewal)
• EPIC EMR proficiency (highly valued)
• Soft Skills:
• Adaptability across units
• Multidisciplinary collaboration
