Registered Nurse- Per-Diem, Days, 8 AM - 4 PM, Hematology Oncology Atlantic Health Newton Medical Ce

• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient health care records and reports
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions
• Monitor, assess, document, and report symptoms or changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Record and monitor vital signs and relevant medical information
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self‑care
• Prescribe and coordinate assistive medical devices and related treatments as appropriate
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required:

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• OCN® certification 
• BLS Certification
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment

Preferred:

• Previous experience in Oncology and/or Hematology nursing

   

• Experience administering chemotherapy and managing oncology‑related symptoms
• BSN degree
