Registered Nurse - Primary Care

• Primary Care RN – Government Healthcare (Temp-to-Hire)
  Location: Decatur, GA (Atlanta VA Medical Center)
  Employment Type: Full-time, Long-Term Contract (Temp-to-Hire)
  Pay: $35–$37/hr

We are seeking three (3) experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to support a major federal healthcare facility in Atlanta, GA. If you're passionate about serving our nation’s veterans and have strong outpatient experience, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical assessments and evaluate symptoms
• Monitor chronic and acute health conditions
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and preventive health
• Coordinate referrals, diagnostics, and follow-up care
• Accurately document in EMRs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Respond to patient emergencies as needed
  

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (any U.S. state)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Minimum 3 years of primary care RN experience
• Experience within the last 6 months
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care coordination skills
• Must pass government background check
• Able to provide 3 professional references at submission

Schedule Options:

• Gold Team: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (10-hour shifts, off Wednesdays)
• Purple Team: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Platinum Team: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
