Registered Nurse – Senior Helpers of Holly Springs

Job Type: PRN / As Needed (W-2)
Location: Holly Springs, NC and surrounding areas

About the Opportunity:

Senior Helpers of Holly Springs is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a PRN basis to conduct in-home client assessments. This is a flexible, as-needed opportunity with no shift commitments and no ongoing case management responsibilities.  

When we need an assessment completed, we'll reach out. You decide if the timing works for you.

This role is a natural fit for a retired or semi-retired RN who wants to stay connected to their profession without the demands of a traditional nursing schedule — or for an RN currently working full time who has availability between commitments and is looking for rewarding work that fits around their life, not the other way around.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Travel to clients' homes and complete all documentation for nursing assessments and observations


• Utilize professional assessment skills to identify the clinical needs of the client


• Evaluate clients in accordance with NC state home care regulations


• Develop individualized plans of care based on assessment findings


• Communicate completed documentation to the Agency's Service Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision


• Able to maintain confidential information


• Excellent written documentation skills


• Able to communicate effectively with agency staff, clients, and clients' families


• Wellsky Personal Care experience is a plus. 

Required Education and Experience:

• Current RN licensure in the State of North Carolina


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation


• Current TB test


• Must maintain CEU requirements as required by the NC Board of Nursing


• Home care, geriatric, or community health experience preferred but not required
