Job Title: RN Resident – Progressive Surgical Unit (Entry-Level RN)

Overview:
Avant Tech is recruiting on behalf of a leading healthcare provider seeking newly licensed Registered Nurses to join their Progressive Surgical Unit. This role is ideal for recent nursing graduates or RNs with less than 12 months of experience who want to build strong clinical skills in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to post-surgical patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient recovery, administer medications, and perform treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians, experienced nurses, and allied health staff.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
• Educate patients and families on care and recovery.
  

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• Washington RN license (or eligible upon hire).
• BLS Certification – American Heart Association (required).
• Less than 12 months of RN experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered mindset.

Preferred:

• National certification in a nursing specialty (if applicable).
