Registered Nurse – Pulmonary Unit (Full-Time, with Rotating Weekends)

Location: Gainesville, FL
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 for eligible candidates

Position Overview

Join a collaborative Pulmonary Unit team as a Registered Nurse, where you’ll provide patient-centered care, advocate for your patients, and help drive positive outcomes. This full-time day shift opportunity includes rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments during admission and each shift
• Monitor for and promptly report any changes in patient condition
• Administer prescribed medications and assess patient responses
• Execute medical provider-ordered procedures and document all care accurately
• Deliver responsive, high-quality nursing care with a focus on patient comfort and safety
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure personalized care

Requirements

• Active Florida RN License or compact 
• Registered Nurse Diploma required (ADN or BSN)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) – must be obtained within 30 days of hire
