Registered Nurse - Recovery (RN)

Job Description

As a Recovery RN, you'll provide exceptional patient care in both outpatient and recovery settings, helping patients safely navigate their procedural experience from preparation through recovery. Working closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, you'll utilize your clinical expertise, critical thinking, and compassionate approach to deliver high-quality care and outstanding patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in outpatient and recovery settings.


• Prepare patients for procedures in the operating room, endoscopy, cardiology, and radiology departments.


• Assess, monitor, and respond to patient needs before and after procedures.


• Coordinate individualized plans of care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.


• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and follow-up care.


• Supervise and delegate care as appropriate while promoting patient safety and quality outcomes.


• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately and efficiently.

Required

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or another compact licensure state.

Preferred

• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
