Registered Nurse (RN)

Cedar Park Med is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care to a burn patient at a residential facility in Falls Church, VA. This is an on-call assignment requiring expertise in tracheostomy and PEG tube care, as well as wound care management following skin graft procedures. Assignment Details:

• Location: Falls Church, VA (3302 Gallows Road)
• Start Date: On or around 7/21/2025
• Schedule: Daily visits, including weekends availability. Approximately 2–4 hours per day (subject to change based on patient needs)
• Assignment Length: Estimated a few weeks up to 180 days, depending on patient’s recovery and legal status
  

Responsibilities:

• Provide tracheostomy care, including suctioning, dressing changes, and site monitoring
• Administer PEG tube feedings and perform related care
  Manage wound care for severe burns and post-skin graft areas
• Monitor for signs of infection and escalate care when appropriate
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with facility staff for holistic patient care
  

Requirements:

• Active RN license in VA
• Previous experience with tracheostomy and PEG tube care
• Strong wound care knowledge, burn care experience preferred
• Current BLS certification
• COVID vaccination required
