Registered Nurse (RN)

Position: OVERNIGHT Direct Support Professional (aka - DSP, Direct Care Worker, DCW, Direct Support Staff) *RN Only*

Location: Souderton, Montgomery County

Current Positions: FULL TIME - MON/TUES/WED 10PM-8AM 

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a qualified individual who enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of others. As a direct care worker you will assist in daily living activities, including health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation and documentation which include shift, incident (if applicable) and individual progress reports. On a daily basis, maintain a safe and therapeutic environment that meets the emotional, physical and personal needs of each individual we serve.

• Provide services/supports to individuals


• Assist individuals with developing socialization, meal preparation, and personal hygiene skills.


• Transport individuals to medical appointments, personal shopping, and recreation activities.


• Cultivate safe and supportive relationships via natural supports.


• Coach individuals with identifying and facilitating volunteer opportunities or paid employment.


• Complete necessary training based on the Individual’s needs.


• Accurately completes all in-house documentation and reports of individuals progress

Requirements :
RN (REGISTERED NURSE)

Valid Driver’s License
Clear criminal record background check in accordance with state requirements
Current - CPR certification and Medication Administration Certification (preferred)
Current Physical/TB
Ability to pass all required trainings, including CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration
Minimum of 6 months of human service experience working with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
