Hiring in Tacoma, WA!! PACU RN!!

Here are a few quick details about the position:

•            Location: Tacoma, WA

•            Facility Type: St. Jospeh Medical Center

•            Schedule: 4x10s days, evenings 

•            Compensation: $3,040 per week

•            Start Date: 6/30/25

Unit Notes

This is a unique unit. It’s a short stay pre and post op recovery area for heart and vascular procedures. They are looking for someone with critical care experience and preferably PACU experience.

COVID VACCINE REQUIRED!

Unit Cardiac procedures- pre-op and pacu

# of beds 12

Phase 1 and Phase 2? Yes

Ratios Phase I = 1:1, Phase 2 = 2 or 3:1, Charge Nurse

Required Certifications ACLS, BLS

Common Cases This is a unique unit. It’s a short stay pre and post op recovery area for heart and vascular procedures. They are looking for someone with critical care experience and preferably PACU experience. Having cath lab experience would also be a bonus. They will need to maintain patients on vents, phase 1 and phase 2 until ready to discharge home or to another unit. They care for Cardiac – EP, left & right heart cath (LHC & RHC), permanent pacemaker (PPM), implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), vascular, STEMI, chronic total occlusion (CTO). Would need to be able to cover Pre-op, Phase 1 and Phase 2. Patients do not stay on this unit overnight. If they cannot go home by 8pm, they transfer the patients to a sister cardiac unit.
