Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Rehab (Nights)

• Nights 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM 12; 36 hours per week

• Hourly Pay: $ 29.50
  
• Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
  
• Weekly Total Pay: $ 2042.50
  
• Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend
  
• Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
  
• Travel Policy: Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor. This policy will begin on 6/1/2024.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions.
  
• Assesses, monitors, detects, plans and takes appropriate action to prevent potential physiological complications and promotes the optimal level of health.
  
• Accountable for integrating care within the scope of practice licensure, relevant education, and experience. Reports to shift Team Leader and are accountable to the Department Manager.
  
• Utilizes Policies and Procedures to guide job duties. Level specific criteria are evaluated annually and can be found in the MNM Clinical Ladder.
  
• Clinical Expertise: Collaborates with other members of the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological, psychosocial, spiritual assessment consistent with patient/significant other’s changing needs & goals, utilizing the Clinical Practice Model (CPM) and the “Caring-Quality Model.”
  
• Knowledge: Seeks life-long learning through certification, advanced practice, higher education, and literature review.
  
• Leadership/Credibility: Demonstrates leadership through sharing of knowledge, being a clinical resource, and professional role model.
  
• Communication: Demonstrates effective communication through collegial relationships, SBAR, and interdisciplinary communication.
  
• Productivity: Demonstrates enhanced time management skills and ability to assist others in order to contribute to the overall performance of the team.
  
• Performs other duties consistent with the purpose of the job as directed by general and unit-specific competency-based objectives.
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 2 years acute rehab experience
  
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  
• Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
