About the Role

As an RN at Ingalls, you'll coordinate and deliver direct patient care using evidence-based nursing practice, working alongside physicians and an interdisciplinary care team. You'll serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and leader while helping shape a culture of excellence in patient care.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with physicians to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and outcomes
• Perform advanced nursing skills and appropriately delegate care based on unit-specific competencies and patient age
• Monitor and support quality of care and patient satisfaction
• Lead daily unit operations in partnership with the Patient Care Team
• Proactively meet the needs of patients, families, and physicians, exceeding expectations through strong customer relations
• Uphold hospital policies, standards of care, and corporate compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license through the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (or valid temporary permit)
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
