Registered Nurse (RN) Cath Lab Holding

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, varying start times between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Hours: 40 hours per week

• Weekends / Holidays: Weekdays only, no weekend call (EOW/Holiday coverage as needed)

• Type: Travel contract

• Facility note: Absolutely no license or background hits accepted

Requirements

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years in Critical Care or Emergency Department

  • Preferred: Prior travel experience

  • Cath Lab Holding experience highly valued

• Skills Needed:

  • Pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing minimally invasive cardiac procedures, such as:

    • Coronary angioplasty

    • Stent placement

    • IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)

    • Impella support

    • Electrophysiology studies and device implants

  • Proficiency in managing cardiac drips and medications

  • Critical care competency for cardiac patients

Licenses & Certifications

• Required:

  • BLS & ACLS (American Heart Association only)

  • Compact or Virginia RN License – must be in hand (no pending or temporary)

  • EPIC proficiency – required, no exceptions

  • Qualivis Submission Form

  • Current NURSYS Report

  • All RTO listed clearly on cover sheet
