Registered Nurse (RN) CVICU/ CCU Nights

The Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) or Critical Care Unit (CCU) will provide exceptional nursing care for critically ill patients with cardiovascular issues, including those recovering from heart surgeries. This role requires the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while effectively collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. The RN will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing education to patients and families about their conditions and treatments.

This position is for night shifts, and the successful candidate will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities.

• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Critical Care Unit.
• Proficient in the care of patients recovering from cardiovascular surgeries and advanced critical care techniques.
• Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with advanced cardiac monitoring and critical care procedures.
• BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Knowledge of and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Commitment to continued education and professional development in cardiology and critical care nursing.
