Job Description (SNF Nursing)

As a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) nurse, you will provide comprehensive care for geriatric residents who require 24/7 support. Duties include:

  Ordering medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed

  
  


• 
  

  Preparing and administering treatments and medications

  
  


• 
  

  Communicating changes in condition to physicians and family members

  
  


• 
  

  Performing skilled nursing services such as tube feedings, suctioning, catheterization, wound care, dressings, and irrigations

  
  


• 
  

  Continuous monitoring of critically ill residents

  
  


• 
  

  Acting as a resident advocate and ensuring care aligns with the care plan and personal wishes

  
  


• 
  

  Completing accurate, timely charting and documentation

Requirements

• 
  

  Active RN or LPN license in good standing

  Strong communication skills with residents, families, staff, and visitors

  Ability to make sound, independent decisions

  Solid knowledge of nursing best practices and medical procedures
