Job Description - Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED) (Full Time/Nights)

Here’s What You Need:

·       Nursing Diploma in nursing required or

·       Associate’s degree in nursing required or

·       Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred

·       1 year of experience as a registered nurse required or completion of an RN residency program required

·       2 years of experience as an RN in an ED acute care setting strongly preferred; completion of ED residency a plus

·       RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required and

·       BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and

·       ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days and

·       CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days required and

·       PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days and

·       TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course within 6 months required

·       NRP – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program if floating to Mother baby within 90 days required

·       A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Work hours:

·       Full Time/Nights (7P-7A) 36 hours/week

·       3 shifts per week

·       Rotating weekend and holiday requirements
