Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications & Responsibilities:
- Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance
- Pediatric home health experience preferred, but not required. New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply.
- Provide quality skilled one-on-one nursing care to pediatric clients in a home setting for 8–12 hour shifts, allowing them to remain with their families instead of an inpatient facility
- Care for clients with serious illnesses, medical complexities, disabilities, or those recovering from injuries or extensive surgery
- Assess client conditions during each visit, including monitoring vital signs, seizure activity, and providing care for gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes), tracheostomies, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilators
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and the individualized plan of care
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
