Registered Nurse (RN) ICU

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an ICU nurse, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and caring for critically ill patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs and lab results.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide direct patient care, including wound care, IV therapy, and life support management.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth.
• Participate in trauma response and emergency situations as needed.
• Uphold safety standards and infection control protocols within the ICU environment.

Requirements

• Years of Experience: 3 year(s)
• Preferred, Epic
• Patient Ratio Experience:1:2
• CV recovery experienced preferred
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Experience in internal medicine, trauma medicine, geriatrics, or outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Experience in a teaching hospital environment is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Travel nursing, Contract

Pay: $62.87 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
