• IR RN Days, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8-hour; call 2 weekends per month 7a-1p

• Non billable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
  
• Traveler Policy: Anyone with a permanent address within a 35 mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler.
  
• Policy: Client has incorporated a strict 3 strike attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor. This policy will begin on 6/1/2024
  

• Assess, prepare, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
  
• Continuously evaluates the patient’s needs, plan of care, and nursing actions, adjusting the plans as required to provide optimum patient outcomes.
  
• Administer and manage moderate sedation with a focus on patient safety.
  
• Collaborate with interventional radiologists and technologists during procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, biopsies, and central line placements.
  
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

• Must have 2+ Years of IR and Stress Test Experience
  
• Must have Very Strong IV Experience
  
• Must have Travel Experience
  
• Must have ACLS Certification
  
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  
• Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
