Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery | Nights | Torrance, CA

Avant Tech is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a full-time night shift position at a leading hospital in Torrance, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work in a Magnet-recognized facility that delivers over 2,600 babies each year.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to laboring patients through delivery and recovery.
• Circulate in the operating room during C-sections.
• Support PACU services, postpartum care, and OB triage for emergent cases.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and NICU staff.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process.
  
  

• Active California RN License (required).
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP (AAP) certifications (required).
• Completion of AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (required).
• Minimum 1 - 5 years of RN experience in:

1. Acute Care (1 year minimum)
2. Labor & Delivery (intrapartum, antepartum, or OR). (recent experience required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
• National specialty certification (preferred).
