Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in long-term care
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility setting
- Coordinate and prioritize resident care activities based on assessed needs and established care plans
- Conduct thorough assessments of residents' health status and collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, adhering to facility policies and procedures
- Monitor residents' condition and response to treatment, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider
- Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families, promoting a positive living environment
- Document all nursing interventions, assessments, and outcomes accurately and timely in resident records
