A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Medical/Surgical team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive clinical outcomes in an acute care environment.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process and established clinical standards
Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients in an acute care setting
Monitor patient conditions and promptly identify and respond to changes in status
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and organizational policies
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care
Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other healthcare team members
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Serve as a preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
Demonstrate professional accountability and participate in ongoing learning and development initiatives
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification if required by the department
Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Minimum of two years of Registered Nurse experience
Nursing specialty certification preferred
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
