Registered Nurse (RN)- Operating Room (OR) (Days), Keene, NH

• 10hr Days, but flexibility required for the occasional evening needs 40hr guarantee

• Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
  
• Weekly Total Pay: $ 2611.00
  
• Weekend Requirements: Friday (3.30p)-Monday morning (7a) Usually about 1 weekend every 5-6 weeks
  
• On Call Requirements: CALL IS REQUIRED: Weekdays 3.30p-7p; usually 1-3 times per 5-6 days
  
• Traveler Policy: will not consider "Local Travelers" (those who reside within 50 miles of facility). LOCAL TRAVELERS (those who reside within 50 miles of facility) WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED. To avoid delays in processing, please provide perm address at profile upload.
  
• EMR System: Epic EMR experience
  

** SCRUB EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED. SCRUB OR RN'S WILL RECEIVE FIRST CONSIDERATION FOR OFFER

** Travelers may not take all holidays off. MUST work TWO blocks (if scheduled/needed): Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after New Year Eve through New Year Day and weekend after

** Any/All RTO must be included in profile. ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION. Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer. Please obtain this information prior to submittal. Requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeping patients and their families informed about surgical procedures
  
• Administering medication and using medical equipment under the direction of a surgeon
  
• Responding to sudden changes in patients’ health and managing occasional emergencies
  
• Keeping good records and maintaining patients’ charts
  
• Using basic math skills adequate for dosage calculations
  
• Working with surgeons, medical/surgical nurses and post-acute caregivers to create comprehensive patient care from pre- to post-op
  
• Standing for long periods, lifting moderate weight and working in environments where there may be infectious material
  

Compensation:

• Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a minimum 2 years OR experience
  
• Must be willing to work OR Cases in their space; Scrub OR RNs will receive first consideration for offer
  
• Scrub experience strongly preferred
  
• Must have NH RN license or Compact
  
• Must have multiple surgical specialty experience
  
• Traveler must be willing to perform OR duties(within scope of practice) in interventional radiology unit
  
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
  
• Perm address must be included in profile
  
• Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  
• Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  
• Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
