Registered Nurse (RN) - Primary Care

Avant Tech is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Primary Care Division. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a primary care setting, emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic disease management. The RN will collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate quality care and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and physical exams, recognizing health issues that require further attention.
• Administer medications, injections, and immunizations, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management.
• Coordinate care and services with healthcare providers, specialists, and community resources.
• Document patient care and health information accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to team-based care activities.
• Provide support and consultation to healthcare teams to enhance patient-centered care.
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education related to primary care nursing.

• Must hold a valid RN license in the applicable state.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with 6 months of recent experience. (from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited nursing program)
• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in primary care or outpatient settings.
• Active BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred)
• Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.

• Location: Cobb Parkway N., Marietta, GA, 30066 (onsite)
• Job Type: Full-time | Contract
• Contract Duration: 2 years (through September 2027)
• Schedule: 8-hour Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm | Bi-weekly pay | no weekend, or holiday shifts.
• Pay: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour (all-inclusive)
