Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Premium - Full time Night shift:

Job Summary:
Inova Fair Oaks Hospital Medical Unit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who is a capable and caring clinician, focused on expanding knowledge and skills; consistently provides effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team to a diverse medical patient population.

Part Time / Nights / Sign On Bonus available for eligible RNs!

Duties:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience in critical care and occupational health settings
- Ability to perform sonography and airway management
- Competency in tube feeding and infant care
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding system
- Basic life support certification
- Skill in phlebotomy techniques
- Familiarity with administering medications via various routes
