Registered Nurse (RN) Miami Valley Hospital CARDIAC CATH LAB FULL TIME / 7A - 5:30P / 80 HOURS PER PAY + call The clinical nurse (CN) functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of Nursing. The CN is responsible for maintaining high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice and demonstrates appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles. The CN also coordinates/directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team. The CN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The CN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/indirectly impacts the patient outcomes and care provided to patients/ families/ significant others. Education: BSN required or must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within 6 months from date in position; with completion of the BSN within 5 years from date in position. Licensure: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License Certification: Current AHA BLS required upon hire; ACLS required within 90 days. Experience: Min. 1 year of acute care hospital RN experience required; preferably in cardiac care. Skills/Other: none required
