Compensation: RN $45-$54 per hour; LPN $36-$43 per hour

CHMHA has a fantastic opening for a Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (RN/LPN).
Our RN/LPN will work as part of a team to provide mental health services in 24-hour residential care and outpatient facilities. They will coordinate with staff prescribers and outside primary care providers as needed.

SCHEDULE
The schedule for this shift is Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week. This position does require travel to different CHMHA facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform basic nursing assessments including health assessments, AIMS, Vitals
Provide medication -related services for clients who require such services including injections and blood draws as needed.
Provide coordination of care services including with hospitals, Primary Care, labs
Coordinate with agency prescribers and program staff to ensure completion of labs, injections and refills
Provide immediate crisis intervention and resolution as needed.
Support all aspects of medication storage and administration including medication reconciliation, controlled substance storage and inventory, medication room audits, med error reporting, disposal of medication
Provide consultation, education, and training to the staff at Community House and assigned contract employees as needed
Maintain client records in keeping with agency, county, and state guidelines
Maintain member and staff confidentiality at all times.
Attend scheduled meetings and conferences as assigned and in meeting requirements for RN/LPN licensing
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Active WA State RN or LPN license
Current First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
Experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness
Must hold a valid driver’s license for 1 year with clean driving record in order to use agency vehicles.
Have legible handwriting
Ability to do simple mathematics
Basic computer skills
Ability to read and comprehend agency/member charts
