Registered Nurse - School RN

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking a temporary Registered Nurse (RN) to join our health services team. In this role, you will provide essential medical care to students, promote wellness, and support a healthy campus community. Oneonta Job Corps Academy is a residential vocational training program serving young adults ages 16–24. We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and health-conscious environment while our students work toward their educational and career goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students in accordance with established protocols.
• Perform health assessments, administer medications, and maintain accurate health records.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies promptly and appropriately.
• Educate students on health, wellness, and preventative care practices.
• Collaborate with other staff to support the overall well-being of the student population.

Schedule & Details:

• Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Temporary/contract assignment
• Competitive hourly pay

Qualifications:

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience working with young adults, adolescents, or in a school/college health setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
