Location: Nellis AFB
Pay:$50/hr, Health & Wellness $5.09*/hr worked (in lieu of benefits)
Schedule: Typical hours are Mon-Friday 0730-1630 with various days when workday hours will flex between 0600-1830 to attend worldwide virtual training sessions. Hours to not exceed 40 hours per workweek. When directed by the Government, the HCW shall remain on duty to complete patient treatment where lack of continuity of care would otherwise jeopardize patient health. This provision is not intended to apply to the time required to complete routine tasks (e.g., completion of paperwork or routine administrative tasks at the end of a shift) which are to be completed as part of the normal work schedule.
Overage Hours: Overage hours for each labor category are as follows: will start with 5 hours and will not
exceed 25 hours per FTE

o Must have the ability to provide clinical and operational knowledge on hospital and nursing standards, regulations, policies, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The RN Special Needs Coordinator acts as representative to the MTF EFMP-Medical department, the Chief of Medical Staff and is directly responsible to the same for his/her actions.
o Must have knowledge and understanding of developmental growth dynamics of human behavior, family and other social systems; and impact of illness and disability on social functioning.
o Knowledge of medical facility organization, mission, purpose, philosophy, and objectives as well as those of the ANA and TJC to provide professional nursing consultation to others in the MTF.
o Skill in oral and written communication to articulate medical requirements to professional and administrative staff and to present briefings to providers and beneficiaries.
o Ability to analyze and evaluate treatment plans and their relationship/appropriateness to diagnoses and to recognize questionable treatment plans.
o Familiarity with a variety of computer applications/software to input and extract data from established databases.
o Working knowledge of the military health care system including TRICARE/ Health Net health benefits (is preferred).
