Job Description - Registered Nurse - Step Down

This position is for a night shift nurse with experience in medical-surgical and vascular surgeries at a stepdown level of care. Candidates must have AHA BLS & AHA NIHSS certification. The role includes caring for patients undergoing trauma, neuro, ENT, general surgery, urosurgery, plastic surgery, and bariatric arterial lines. Nurses will be expected to float and work every other weekend and holiday, with up to 3 shift call-offs for a 13-week contract. Orientation period includes 8 hours of non-billable training.
