Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients while working both independently and collaboratively with other members. This position requires strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Registered Nurse Supervisor - Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing services, health care and treatment to patients
  

• Assesses offenders’ health problems and needs, prepares and administers prescribed medications, initiates emergency interventions, first aid measures, and assists physicians.
  

• Provide evidence-based nursing care and promote continued competence through education/certification with a focus on correctional nursing
  

• Develops and implements medical/nursing guidelines and maintains medical records.
  

• Provides training as necessary to staff and education to patients about healthy lifestyles.
  

Registered Nurse Supervisor - Schedule, Compensation & Benefits

• $47/hr - $54/hr
  

• 40 hours/ wk

Registered Nurse Supervisor - Requirements

• Virginia RN license
  

• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
