Registered Nurse Supervisor I (Rehab)

Requirements

Possession of a
license and current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York
State; and two years of post-licensure clinical nursing experience in an acute
rehabilitation, acute inpatient critical care, or medical surgical setting.

A bachelor’s
degree in nursing can substitute for one year of post-licensure clinical
nursing experience.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:

ACLS,
MSN, BS in health services or 30 credits towards a BSN or BS in health
services.  One year of supervisory experience
in acute care setting.  Assertive and
self-directed with knowledge of SNF regulations, PRIs, MDS and DOH annual
surveys and good communication skills.  Managerial experience in staffing, scheduling and employee
relations.  Demonstrates excellent leadership
skills.
