Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate, and individualized care based on departmental standards and nursing best practices
• Perform patient assessments at admission and throughout each shift; identify and report any changes in condition
• Carry out provider-ordered procedures, monitoring, and treatments; document all care accurately and promptly
• Respond quickly to patient needs and proactively anticipate care requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement personalized treatment plans
• Facilitate care transitions by liaising with healthcare providers and community support systems
• Serve as a patient advocate and uphold the organization's mission, vision, and values in every interaction
• Apply nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage” to ensure comprehensive patient care

Compensation: 

• Base Hourly Rate: $32 to $38 per hour 
• Night Shift Differential: Additional $6 per hour on weekdays and $7 per hour on weekends. 
• Weekend Day Shift Differential: Additional $5 per hour

Requirements

• Registered Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN) 
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia
• BCLS, NCI -- required within 30 days of hire 
• No prior experience required; new graduates are welcome to apply
