The Registered Nurse (MedSurg/Telemetry) is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to adult patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions. This position involves continuous telemetry monitoring, patient education, coordination with interdisciplinary teams, and adherence to high clinical standards.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care based on individualized needs and care plans. 
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient condition. 
• Interpret and respond to telemetry readings and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and communications accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions. 
• Support infection control, fall prevention, and other hospital-wide safety initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
Licensure: Current Mississippi RN Licensure or Compact Licensure in good standing.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS are required.
Experience: One year of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply!
