Were hiring two RRTs to join our dedicated respiratory care team. Whether you prefer evening or night shifts, youll work in a collaborative environment providing high-quality care to patients of all ages, using advanced therapies and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care services per physician orders and hospital protocols
• Administer therapies including aerosol, volume expansion, bronchial hygiene, and oxygen delivery
• Initiate, monitor, and discontinue mechanical ventilation (invasive and non-invasive)
• Perform blood gas sampling, analysis, and pulmonary function testing
• Assist with bronchoscopies, specimen handling, and post-procedure care
• Obtain and interpret 12-Lead EKGs
• Maintain and disinfect respiratory equipment; deliver and manage oxygen tanks
• Educate patients and families on therapy plans and equipment use
• Mentor new hires and students; may act as Charge Therapist as needed
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Licensure: Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in New York State (or eligible)
• Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialed by NBRC (or eligible within 12 months)
• CPR Requirements:
  • BLS required within 90 days of hire
  • ACLS required within 1 year of hire
• Experience: 1+ year preferred, but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
