Registered Respiratory Therapist - Travel Position  

Location: Rhinelander, WI 

Job Type: Travel Contract   

Duration: 13 weeks  

Shift: 5x8s 

Pay: $2599/week  

Job Description:  

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team. The RRT will provide respiratory care treatments, manage ventilators, and support patients with breathing disorders to ensure optimal respiratory function. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• 
  

  Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed. 

  
  

• 
  

  Operate and manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, and related equipment. 

  
  

• 
  

  Assess, monitor, and document patients’ respiratory status and progress. 

  
  

• 
  

  Respond to emergency situations and provide life-support interventions. 

  
  

• 
  

  Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff on patient care plans. 

  
  

• 
  

  Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and home care practices. 

  
  

Qualifications:  

• 
  

  Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program 

  
  

• 
  

  Current state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner 

  
  

• 
  

  Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC 

  
  

• 
  

  BLS/CPR certification, COVID vaccine, TB test 

  
  

• 
  

  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications (Preferred) 

  
  

• 
  

  Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
