Department: Respiratory Care

Schedule: PRN | Day Shift









How you'll make an impact in this role






  • Evaluate patients with respiratory needs to design and implement customized care plans, ensuring the treatment type and frequency align perfectly with their specific diagnosis.
  • Manage advanced respiratory care and life-support equipment, monitoring performance and patient response to ensure every breath supports optimal recovery.
  • Respond as a vital member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing life-saving interventions and respiratory expertise during high-pressure "code" situations.
  • Advocate for patient progress by monitoring clinical changes and communicating updates to the medical team, ensuring medications and treatments are adjusted for the best possible outcomes.
  • Empower patients and their families through dedicated education, providing the clarity and community resources they need to manage their health condition confidently.








What minimum qualifications you'll need






Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
