Albany Law School seeks applications for the position of Registrar Coordinator. The Registrar Coordinator plays an important role in supporting students throughout their academic journey. As a key point of contact in the Registrar’s Office, you’ll work with students, faculty and staff while helping ensure that academic records and student information are accurate, accessible and handled with care. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable with technology and data, and takes pride in keeping things organized and accurate.
Your work will include, but won’t be limited to:
- Serving as a welcoming and knowledgeable resource for students, faculty and staff, helping answer questions and navigate academic policies and processes.
- Supporting student records and academic processes, including registration, transcripts, enrollment verification, exams and graduation-related activities.
- Working with Admissions and other campus partners to ensure student information is transferred accurately between systems and records remain complete and up to date.
- Using student databases and technology to maintain data integrity, prepare reports and help identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Supporting the day-to-day and cyclical work of the Registrar’s Office while collaborating with colleagues across campus to provide a positive student experience.
Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Two or more years of related experience in a higher education environment, preferably involving student services, academic records or data management. Registrar’s Office experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
- Comfort working with technology and databases, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and work effectively with a diverse campus community.

Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this position is $21.00-$26.18 plus comprehensive benefits package. Pay rate offered will be based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, and in consideration of internal equity. Comprehensive benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, retirement plan with 5% employer contribution, employer paid life insurance and disability coverage and generous paid time off (PTO, volunteer time off, holidays and parental leave).
