Job Description - Regs Assembler Casing (Team B) - 1st shift

Eaton\u2019s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Regs Assembler Casing (Team B) - 1st shift at our Nacogdoches, TX facility! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $19.15 per hour.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Below are a few of the outstanding benefits we offer:\n\n * Health benefits effective day one of employment. \n * Retirement benefits, Paid Parental Leave, Educational Assistance Program, Wellness Reimbursement, and more! \n\n\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe Regs Assembler is responsible for performing the final assembly operations of electricity regulators according to prescribed standard methods and procedures. \n\n\nIn this function, you will: \n\u2022 Perform tasks across various work centers, including covers, pumps, basic assembly, single-pot assembly, two-pot assembly, all tap changer. \n\u2022 Build the product per work instructions and quality standards that are required in the assembly with use of calibrated tooling (pneumatic tools, power tools, hand tools, etc.). \n\u2022 Build and fulfill requirements needed; work closely with engineering, quality, and shipping department to ensure product is completed and shipped on time. \n\u2022 Conduct ratio testing on the unit and troubleshoot any potential problems found in order to complete ratio test. \n\u2022 Move units by use of overhead cranes and power industrial vehicles. \n\u2022 Repair units and components that have failed test, are defective or require other needed changes. \n\u2022 Participate in teardown, repair and modification of customer-supplied equipment as directed by engineering or quality departments. \n\u2022 Troubleshoot as needed throughout the process. \n\u2022 Actively participates in problem-solving processes, contributing to efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization. \n\u2022 Achieves and maintains target production rates or output levels, ensuring efficient operations and meeting organizational goals. \n\u2022 Adhere to safety protocols, ensures efficient material handling, housekeeping practices (5S+), and company policies and procedures. \n\u2022 Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. \n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Prior assembly experience. \n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\nPosition Success Criteria:\n\n * Must demonstrate effective communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and a positive work ethic.\n * Must uphold Eaton\u0027s Values and philosophy. \n * Ability to comprehend written and verbal work instructions accurately, and interpret document specifications.\n * Ability to perform basic mathematical functions as required. \n * Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, grabbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and using both hands to lift and lower materials, with or without reasonable accommodations. \n * Ability to adhere to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, over-the-elbow sleeves, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toe shoes, metatarsal guards, etc.\n * Ability to work efficiently in hot environments and tolerate loud noises. \n\n\n\n#IND123\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
