Regulatory Affairs Manager

Location: Marietta, GA

The Regulatory Affairs Manager is responsible for a broad range of regulatory functions that include hazard communication, raw material compliance, and formula compliance for a growing Atlanta based fragrance and flavor manufacturer. The incumbent will be working closely with the R&D and Perfumery teams to ensure product compliance, with the sales team in support of customers, and will also get involved in industry advocacy efforts.

Responsibilities:

• The primary owner of system-supported regulatory compliance review of fragrance and flavor formulas with the support of other team members.
• The primary owner of raw material compliance review and documentation.
• Contributor of regulatory documentation for the customers including Safety Data Sheet.
• Contributor of data and report submissions to regulatory bodies and agencies. 
• Continuing education via industry workshops, training and professional events to keep up to date on global regulations for fragrance and flavor materials.
• Representation on behalf of Arylessence in selective industry trade associations.

Requirements

• Working knowledge and experiences of applicable federal and state regulations for fragrance and flavor materials.
• Working experience of system-supported formula compliance reviews.
• Demonstratable leadership experience and skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s degree in related science field is required.
• Minimum five years of related experience in a regulatory affairs organization is required.
• Education and knowledge in chemical toxicology is preferred.
