Position Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support regulatory compliance activities across the United States and Canada. This role will help ensure that products, labeling, and technical documentation comply with applicable regulatory requirements while supporting business growth and innovation initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience in the food or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, strong knowledge of North American regulatory frameworks, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.



Key Responsibilities



  • Review and support compliance of product formulations, labeling, packaging, and marketing claims in accordance with applicable regulations.

  • Partner with R&D, Marketing, Quality, and Operations teams during new product development and portfolio maintenance activities.

  • Monitor and communicate regulatory updates that may impact products or business operations.

  • Prepare, organize, and maintain technical and regulatory documentation for internal and external requirements.

  • Support interactions with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and external consultants as needed.

  • Conduct regulatory research and competitive benchmarking to support business initiatives.

  • Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.



Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the food or CPG industry.

  • Working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian food regulations, including labeling and compliance requirements.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.



Additional Requirements:



  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English


 


Schedule:



  • Monday to Friday

  • 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
