Basic Function
Eco-Energy is seeking a regulatory analyst in Franklin, TN who will be responsible for overseeing compliance under the U.S. state renewable fuel programs, such as the California Low Carbon Fuel Standard. This role requires a professional with exceptional multi-tasking abilities, critical thinking skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively. The successful candidate will ensure strict adherence to national and sub-national renewable fuel regulations and internal policies, managing compliance reporting, audits, and verifications with precision. This position demands effective communication skills to liaise with government officials, internal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring that all compliance activities are accurately and timely executed. The Regulatory Analyst will also stay abreast of the latest regulatory changes to effectively communicate their impacts and manage compliance transactions and systems efficiently. This position will work in collaboration with the commercial, logistics, and accounting teams.
Responsibilities
· Lead compliance of current and future U.S. state renewable regulatory programs.
· Maintain a basic knowledge of the regulations related to reporting, audits, verifications
· Prepare and submit required compliance reports to regulators
· Participate in internal and external verifications and audits
· Respond to internal and external compliance inquiries
· Establish and maintains procedures around data collection and integrity, including providing suggestions for process improvement
· Represent Eco-Energy to governmental agencies and clients professionally
· Organize and maintain documentation for client transactions, feedstock origins, and attestations
· Prepare and participate in risk assessments
· Collaborate with compliance team on implementing new regulated programs or changes
· Work collaboratively with Regulatory manager on projects, ideas, and action plans for compliance function enhancements
· Special projects assigned by Regulatory Manager, as determined by time to time
· Serve as backup to operational analyst

· Experience with Right Angle/ Solarc
· Familiarity with the Low Carbon Clean Standard programs and EPA Renewable Fuel Standard
Work Conditions
Hybrid. Physically in the office Tuesday – Thursday and remote Monday and Friday. Potential for travel to conferences if needed.
